Master licensed
Our plumbing work is done under master licenses, including the owner’s. Art Winsor is a master plumber who came up through hospital plumbing at Gundersen and Crossing Rivers before joining Strang in 2014.

Our well and septic work is based at our Highland shop. Pump replacement and repair, pressure tanks, well repair, water testing, water treatment and full septic installations. Our installers are certified pump installers, and all well labour carries a one-year warranty.

How we price the work
Service calls are billed hourly. Installations are quoted by the job, so you have the number before anything starts. Estimates are always free, and financing is available on installs.
Water heaters carry a six-year tank warranty. Everything else varies depending on the product and how it is used, and all well labour is covered for one year. We walk you through what yours covers before you commit.
Looking after a septic system (Highland)
How long a septic system lasts depends almost entirely on how well it is looked after. Regular maintenance is crucial.
Some store-bought products are hard on a septic system and others are fine. If you are not sure about something before you pour it down the drain, call Highland and ask. That conversation is free and it is cheaper than a new drain field.
